Now Open: 2026 Spring Alumni Residency Applications

Applications are now open for the 2026 Spring Alumni Residency and will close on March 4, 2026.

Djerassi Program alumni are invited to apply for a special alumni-only session taking place April 2-16, 2026.

The Alumni Residency is a shorter, self-directed program designed for past Djerassi residents to return to the land for independent work and reflection. This session operates with reduced staff and limited services. There will be no private chef or prepared meals. Residents should expect to cook collectively and manage their own transportation to and from the ranch. Should you be flying in to SFO you will need to rent a car for the duration of your stay. Studios and housing will be provided, but participants should be comfortable with a more independent stay than during the regular residency season.

Djerassi will host 1 collective dinner with staff and artists, and a complimentary VIP ticket to SF Art Fair. The cost for this session is $1,400.00 USD total, ($100/night) if you are a collaboration and room/studio together the cost is $2,000.00 USD. Dates for this residency are April 2-16, 2026.

If the price of the residency is cost prohibitive and you are a California Resident you can apply for the CCI Quick Grant for professional development.
