Cabal laser cut names into opaque “doors” in the Old Barn roof, corresponding to victims of police killings in major metropolitan areas between Chicago and San Francisco. The path of light an open door casts during the course of a day represents that person’s expected life span. Cabal spray painted in white the point on that path when their life abruptly ended, and closed the door, allowing only the individual’s name to shine through.
