Three Hills2006

David Nash

Charred redwood

Three Hills is one of 30 sculptures Nash carved from a dead redwood tree taken down by Pacific Gas & Electric in 2006. These three charred forms represent the mountainous terrain in Nash’s homeland of Wales and echo the rolling hills of the local coastal range.
