Vanishing Ship1989

John Roloff

Concrete, steel, glass

Vanishing Ship traveled to several museums before inhabiting this clearing near Harrington Creek, where it originally functioned as a terrarium for native plants. This sculpture was the prototype for several other works, including Roloff’s public art piece at the Yerba Buena Gardens.
